Tour and history walk descriptions
TOUR BEGINS AT THE FLAGPOLES IN THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF TAPPAN SQUARE, AT THE INTERSECTION OF MAIN (RT. 58) AND COLLEGE STREETS.
Learn about the earliest residents of Oberlin and hear fascinating stories of the triumphs, debates, and scandals linked to the landmarks around Tappan Square during this 75-minute guided history walk. Compare the buildings of today to the buildings of yesteryear using historic photographs and walk away with a lively appreciation of Oberlin's unique heritage.
Advance registration is required.
Admission: $10/adults; College Students: $5; OHC members, children (under 18) accompanied by adult, Blue Star Museums and Museums for All participants: free.
