Guided Tour of Jewett House
This tour is offered as a part of the Oberlin College Commencement Activities and is open to the public.

A guided 45-minute tour of the Jewett House. Learn about Frank Fanning Jewett, Sarah Frances Gulick Jewett, Charles Martin Hall, the Aluminum Reduction Process and life in Oberlin during the Progressive Era. Additional topics include architecture, interior design, social reform, and student boarders who stayed with the family during their time at Oberlin College.

Registration is not required but recommended. Walk-ins are welcome.

• Guests will meet at Monroe House to register and be greeted by the tour guide
• Due to the historic nature of our buildings, the tour involves walking and climbing stairs. Contact our office for advance arrangements as needed. Guests with hearing difficulties can ask the docent to wear an audio amplifier.

Advance registration is required as indoor guided tours are limited to one group at a time, exceeding no more than 14 individuals per tour.

Admission: $4/adults; OHC members, college students with current IDs, children (under 18) accompanied by adult, Blue Star Museums and Museums for All participants: free.

Note About Pricing: OHC is part of the Museums for All program. Admission is $0 for eligible participants (limited to 4 participants per SNAP, EBT, or WIC card). Online registration for Museums for All admissions is not available at this time. If you would like to make an advance registration, please call 440-774-1700 or email tourinfo@oberlinheritage.org. Walk-ons are also welcome for this tour.
