Tour and history walk descriptions
Registration is not required; walk-ins are welcome. If advance registrations are made, visitors may arrive anytime between 10:00am-3:00pm on the day of the reservation (last entry is at 2:30pm).
Are you unable to attend a guided house tour? Then drop by during our open hours for a self-guided experience of the popular Oberlin Origins tour. Visitors are provided with a tablet that will take them through the first floor of the 1866 Monroe House. Read about the events and individuals that shaped Oberlin’s first one hundred years, including stories of those who lived in the Monroe House. Topics include Oberlin's beginnings as a Christian Perfectionist community, coeducation, and abolition.
Tour Fees - Adults: $3. OHC members, college students with a valid ID, children under 18 accompanied by an adult, and participants of the Blue Star Museums and Museums for All programs: free.

OHC is part of the Museums for All program. Admission is $0 for eligible participants (limited to 4 participants per SNAP, EBT, or WIC card).
