Tour and history walk descriptions
February 25 - March 18, 2015
Children ages eight to thirteen are sure to enjoy this engaging and educational series about people around the world! Each week we will explore a new culture and time period through hands-on activities and discussions of art, architecture, geography, food, religion and more:
Swahili Coast
Maya
Byzantine Empire
China
Classes are led by an experienced instructor and assisted by an adult volunteer. Classes will be held at the Oberlin Depot at 240 South Main Street. A maximum of 17 participants will be accepted. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants must register for the entire four-class series. Classes may be cancelled if a minimum enrollment of eight is not met by one week prior to the start dates. No refunds will be made within one week prior to the start of the series.
