Outdoor Tablet Tours
You can move at your own pace with our “Picture the Past” and "Freedom's Friends" tablet tours of historic Oberlin. Borrow an iPad at the Monroe House between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and do these tours yourself! Stop in or call ahead (440-774-1700) to reserve a tablet. $5/hour or $20/day; 20% discount for OHC members.

Freedom's Friends: Abolition and the Underground Railroad
This tour is a self-guided version of the popular Freedom's Friends History Walk. The tour guides you to local landmarks connected to Oberlin's abolitionist history. Explore at your own pace while reading stories of sacrifice and freedom and seeing images of past people and places.

Picture the Past: Downtown Oberlin
This tour covers a one block radius extending from the corner of Main and College Streets and is filled with fun facts, photographs, and more about historic Downtown Oberlin!
